1. 2017 Cambridge River Festival  

Cambridge is hosting it's River Festival featuring hundreds of musical performers and performing artists! This outdoor, all day event is completely free and is located only 4 minutes away from Lechmere Train Station on the Green line. There will be dozens of arts & crafts stations all throughout the area, running all day long. Musical acts will be performing across multiple stages during the day, guests should explore and find what's out there! Be sure to click here to check out the schedule so you don't miss anything! 


2.  The Teddy Bear Picnic at the Stevens Coolidge Estate North Andover 

The beautiful Stevens-Coolidge Estate is having a picnic! Families should bring along their best furry friend for arts & crafts in the garden along with a live reading!  Guests should bring their own blankets, light snacks and refreshments will be provided. 


3. Boston's Dragon Boat Festival

The Boston Dragon Boat Festival is back for it's 38th year! This year over 30 teams are racing down the Charles to commemorate the passing of Chinese poet Qu Yuan in 200 B.C. 


4. Cultivar's Opening Weekend

Opening up in the Ames Hotel in Downtown Boston June 2nd!  Cultivar has a focus on providing local and sustainable cuisine for Boston's fine diners. 

Guests can expect a fresh, varied seafood menu along with a large selection of cocktails featuring fresh fruits and vegetables. 

5. Salem Arts Festival 

Downtown Salem will be holding an assembly of over a hundred performing and visual artists from across the North shore! This entirely free event will last from Friday June 2nd til Sunday june 4th. Here is the schedule of events here.

6. HIGH HEEL DASH for Charity

Boston Pride is hosting it's first ever High Heel Dash! Participants will enter a  $25 donation that will go to supporting local LGBTQ+ friendly organizations in the Boston area. Racers are encouraged to dress in costume or drag and prizes will be given to the best looks! Groups and teams are also welcome! This event is 18+ years old only. 


7. PRIDE day at Faneuil Hall

Where can you find Salsa dancing, public Zumba classes, and an all male Burlesque revue? Faneuil Hall! When? June 3rd! Boston PRIDE Takes over Faneuil Hall one day a year filled with musical performances, dancers, and drag queens. The whole family is encouraged to come by!

8. Gloucester's public sculpture tour

 New residents and visitors to downtown Gloucester should get to know the art sprinkled throughout their city! 

You'll get a slice of Gloucester's history, and as well learn the stories of the artists that populate the North Shore and the processes they use to create!

Roseland Cottage

A whopping 18 Massachusetts Museum Mansions are offering totally free guided tours this whole month! Some of the many cities hosting tours are Salem, Quincy, and Newbury but my favorite is this one below... The Gropius house in Lincoln.

11. Wine tasting in the Merrimack Valley at a pretty vineyard

Willow spring is a beloved favorite among local wine enthusiasts. They are currently tasting Leon Millot, Marechal Foch, Seyval Blanc, Pink, and Indulgence on Sunday.

14. Ice Cream Social at the MSPCA

Nevins Farm in Methuen is hosting an ice cream party for it's 100th anniversary! Pick your favorite flavors and possibly pick up a new animal friend to bring home! The Barn and the adoption center will be open for guests to explore and meet the animals. Guests are asked to RSVP on Facebook before attending, tickets are not required! 

 COMING SOON: Yoga with Goats!

Starting June 10th Great Rock Farm in Georgetown, Ma will be hosting Yoga classes with a twist! Baby goats will be hanging out around class and guests are more than welcome to spend some time with them. Class registration fees are $25 a person, reserve tickets ahead of time!
