I'm on a mission to help the locals live like the tourists do. 1. Boston's South End Garden Tour

Where: The Berkeley Community Garden

When: June 17th 10am-4pm

Take dad out to explore Boston's historic South End! Starting at the Berkeley Community Garden visitors will be taken through a handful of private gardens, pocket parks, and also get the chance to watch artists create landscape paintings that will be debuted in a reception following the tour. All works made throughout the day will be available to purchase! My family and I have this on our must do list! 


2. Classic Arcade Games at Bit Bar, in Salem Mass

Bring Pops into Bitbar in Salem for a couple dozen rounds of Mortal Kombat or Pac Man! Bit Bar is open to all ages and their menu has something every member of the family will enjoy: my personal favorite is the Elk Burger served on a Donut roll! We had our sons 15th birthday

 here and it was a massive hit, we also have gone for adult karaoke. 

This spot is fun for all ages. This Sunday Dad gets in free! 




3. Boston's Chefs in Shorts, in the Seaport district

Where: The seaport Hotel

When: June 18th, at 7PM 

Where can you bring dad for a classic barbeque filled with 13 of Boston's finest reastauranteers? The seaport Hotel!  Come down for some good eats and friendly competition, guests will vote on their favorite dishes of the night!

4.  Have a drink at Drink's Pink Wine & Pintxos party

Bring Dad out to the city for some of Boston's most authentic Mexican cuisine at Drink! Drink boasts some of the finest, highly personalized cocktails in the city that your Dad is sure to enjoy! One of my absolute favorite date night spots in the city.



5.  Come Dine with Sinatra at Lucky's Lounge, in Boston Mass

Come chill out in Boston's (literally) hidden gem the first few times I visited here I almost couldn't find it! Lucky's is tucked away on the garden level of Congress street in Boston. Lucky's will host Adam Herbert performing Sinatra's greatest hits, patrons will love tasting some of the Rat Pack's signature cocktails at the bar! This is the perfect spot for a relaxed, no pressure date night and rumor has it it might be where I fell in love with my husband.

6.  The Perfect Oceanside Father's Day Brunch, in Salisbury Mass

Where: Seaglass Restaurant and Lounge

When: June 18th, from 10AM-2PM

Enjoy a mix of air, land, and sea for brunch this Father's day at Seaglass! Toast Mimosas to Dad by the water, I know my family definitely will be! I recently had the chance to bring relocating clients here and they loved the location on the ocean. Salisbury is an up and coming community with some of the most affordable new construction in the area. 



7. Sail Boston - A MUST for every Bostonian

9. Strawberry Festival at Smolak Farm PLUS their 90Th Anniversary Celebration -

Tractors, pick your own strawberries,hayrides, cider donuts, petting zoo, lounging in the sun, ice cream and apple orchards. Don't miss this.

 10. Bike by the Charles and picnic on the esplanade

This is one of our favorite past times. Since my kids were very young we have biked, rollerbladed, ran, walked the dogs or just slowly strolled on the esplanade and picnicked. The summer movie series is one you won't want to miss there as well.
You can also rent boats, there is a concession stand and many playgrounds to stop at. 

11. I Love the 90s Party at Bernie's Beach Bar at Hampton Beach

Where: Bernie's Beach Bar

When: June 14th 8:30-11:55PM

Killer Tofu will be playing your favorite 90s hits at Bernie's Wednesday night, featuring tracks from the Gin Blossoms and the Goo Goo Dolls!

2.  Craft Beer and Puppies at Battery Park in Boston

When: July 1 at 1 PM - 4 PM

Take your best furry friend out for a drink at Battery Park! At $20 dollars a ticket guests and their pups get their first beer, specialty cocktails and a photo-op with the doggies.

3.  Central Flea Market in Cambridge, Mass

An extraordinarily diverse collection of Cambridge and North Shore vendors collaborate once a year to celebrate Central Square's multi-cultural community. What does that really mean? You'll find really cool curios and trinkets, furniture, and a lot more (including food!) in the heart of Cambridge, Mass!

Come on over to City Hall for lots of pizza, beer & wines from local Boston vendors! Festival entry is $15 per person. Expect live music!

5. Smolak Farms American girl doll event 

American Girl Doll Summer Event

Join us under the Smolak Farms event tent for a wonderful American Doll Tea Party on Saturday, June 24 from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm.

Bring your mom, dad, grandparent or your friends and have fun with your favorite doll.

We will spend the afternoon playing games and doing crafts as well as enjoying a light meal.

Child tickets are $25.00 and adult tickets are $15.00.

This is a popular event with a 50 person limit, so get your tickets promptly before they sell out!
